1/28/26 (1) What I like and why: Pooh’s friends are throwing a birthday party for him and he can’t wait. Readers want to know his reactions and how he feels when it finally happens. I like the connection and warmth.

I also like the “can’t wait” part. If there’s a way to make the “can’t wait” time fun, that would be awesome. This is what I am interested in. How to make something in the period before something fun happens fun, maybe even more fun than the eventual fun thing. It’s like how to make the journey fun, or more fun than the destination.
